unpolished granite

I came across a kitchen island (http://maplered.com) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top that was Granite (http://tanbrown.org) , but it was
completely unpolished. It wasn't honed, which I'm familiar with, but it
had texture to it -- a rough surface with long grains running through.
What is that commonly called and (http://maplered.com) what is the best way to purchase it?
